STORAGE ROOM

An overflowing storage room that houses seasonal items, sports equipment, baby items, home improvement supplies and crafting supplies among other things. The client needed to be able to easily access items and make space for supplies for a new venture.

Our Solutions

We took everything out, purged items not used, found more appropriate homes for others and sorted what was left by category. Different “zones” were created for the remaining items, and shelving was added to take advantage of vertical storage and clear up some floor space. Stackable containers were used on the shelves to take further advantage of vertical storage. Items were placed based on frequency of use and labels were added. Now the client can enter the room, go to the appropriate zone to quickly find what she needs and easily retrieve it.
